Dispensing Machine 3D Interactive Showcase

Requirements & Challenges

A dispensing machine is high-value custom equipment with many specialized parts — worktable, vision system, glue supply, motion modules. Customers could not read 2D drawings, and a single sales walkthrough took hours. Remote customers had no way to inspect the machine, and demo-unit display meant high cost and shipping risk.

Our Solution

We built a WebGL-powered 3D interactive showcase for the machine: a lightweight full-unit 3D model renders in the browser in real time. Every key worktable zone has a clickable hotspot — selecting one zooms the camera in and pops up an illustrated introduction. The needle's motion path is animated to show the dispensing route and workflow at a glance. Key parts use x-ray materials so the internal structure is visible through the housing, and the feature / spec panels update in sync with the camera angle.

Results

The system became a 'pocket demo unit' for sales: customers explore the machine on their own, walkthrough time shrank dramatically, remote customers could 'get hands-on' by opening a link, and trade-show demos ran with less staffing. Communication efficiency around machine details improved markedly.
