Requirements & Challenges

Car presentation depends heavily on physical showrooms and real vehicles: with so many paint options, no showroom can stock one car per color; customers must sit inside to judge the interior, which is costly for remote buyers; the official site offered only static photos and videos — look but don't touch, let alone customize colors.

Our Solution

We built a WebGL car 3D interactive showcase: a lightweight full-vehicle model renders in the browser in real time, paint colors switch with one click (metallic and pearlescent textures faithfully reproduced), doors open on click to show the opening posture and cabin space, and the camera can enter the interior for a 360° look at seats, center console and steering wheel. An auto-rotate display mode rounds it out — send a link and the customer gets a near-showroom viewing experience.

Results

The system became the core online viewing entry: customers pick a color in 3D before test-driving, making showroom talks more efficient; remote buyers 'view the car in the cloud' by opening a link; site dwell time and lead volume rose noticeably, and the showroom uses the same system on large screens.
